Tag: Modern Electric Blues
Modern Electric Blues is a subgenre of blues music that began in the late 1970s and early 1980s, following the decline of blues-rock and reduced interest from major record labels. As a musical form, electric blues had not changed significantly since the mid-1960s, once the British blues bands invaded America. As a result, the music sounded essentially the same, blending classic electrified Chicago and Texas blues with a distinct rock influence.
