“Balázs Neumann’s feather-soft touch combined with emotions is really impressive,” said Brian Soundy (UK and Europe Jazz Radio) about the Hungarian pianist. The influential pianist and composer of the Hungarian music scene created the trio in 2005 with drummer Péter Kaszás and bassist László Máthé. The basis of their repertoire is the band leader’s compositions with a lyrical tone, based on the mainstream jazz tradition, seasoned with contemporary influences, which are brought to the moment by collective improvisation. He dedicated each of his compositions to a concept and person related to faith and spirituality.
