You may know Davor Stehlik as the guitar player of the Lucas Santana 5tet and The Roaring Cats. Now he is introducing his own compositions with his quartet which consists of some of the most prominent Dutch jazz musicians. The music of Davor is strongly grounded in the tradition of jazz but it is also very much influenced by the sound of jazz from the last few decades. The interest of exploration through the improvisation and the pursuit of the most beautiful melodies of the moment, are some of the most distinctive qualities of Davor’s playing.
